We Shape the World that Shapes Us is a group exhibition featuring 14 masterpieces by 11 eminent Nanyang first and second-generation artists, namely Chen Cheng Mei, Cheong Soo Pieng, Lai Foong Moi, Lee Man Fong, Lim Mu Hue, Liu Kang, Ong Kim Seng, Tan Choh Tee, Tan Oe Pang, Tan Tee Chie, and Tay Bak Koi. We Shape the World that Shapes Us explores the relationship between Man and Nature. Our world was the teacher to our artists, and also the inspiration for and subject of our artists’ creations.
