Still Waters Run Deep”, Confluence Art Space’s first group exhibition, showcases 12 exquisite works by six renowned Singaporean artists – Chen Cheng Mei, Lim Mu Hue, Siew Hock Meng, Tan Choh Tee, Wee Shoo Leong, and Wong Shih Yaw. Like how a serene water surface belies the great depths of streams, a placid exterior reveals extraordinary complexity and energy. The featured artists employ vastly different styles, yet every painting challenges us to delve deeper. As the exhibition title suggests, the audience is encouraged to look beyond the pictorial and appreciate the inherent quiet passion of each artwork.
