LIM TZE PENG
Confluence Art Space celebrates the beginning of a new year with “Elan”, a solo exhibition by Lim Tze Peng, Singapore’s most celebrated living artist and 2003 Cultural Medallion recipient. Elan encapsulates Lim’s unwavering energy and enthusiasm for art, qualities that have defined his career and continue to thrive, even at the age of 103. Viewers can marvel at a curated selection of 15 paintings and calligraphy works by Lim, showcasing his artistic journey across five decades. The artworks in this exhibition can be grouped into four main categories: the majestic Singapore River, the iconic architecture of Singapore, the enchanting landscapes of Bali, and elegant calligraphy pieces.
